If Wilson Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nelson Bueno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celsinho Veloso's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Rômulo Pires was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedro Paulo Quadros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Nelson Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celsinho Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celsinho Veloso in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelson Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fausto Valle hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Mazagao SC's Nelson Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Paraense in the 34th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Fernando França during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The wind increased when Celsinho Veloso made the kick off in the second half. Dário Donato succeeded in the game's 57th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. When Wilson Paraense came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Pederneiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Paraense couldn't finish the play. Wilson Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Bueno having to interfere.
