Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wilian Madureira got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, MarcuSantos FC's Valério Passos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 7th minute Valério Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célio Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Isaltino Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. MarcuSantos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaltino Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Célio Sampaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of MarcuSantos FC booed when Balsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaltino Fontes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Célio Sampaio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 22nd minute, Artur de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaltino Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaltino Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Célio Sampaio having to interfere. If Isaltino Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Célio Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Passos in the 35th minute of play. Isaltino Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Célio Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Isaltino Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Valério Passos made the kick off in the second half. Célio Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner de Sousa in the 52nd minute of the match. Célio Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valério Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Valério Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Célio Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Balsa's Wilian Madureira got a free kick in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Balsa's zone, Isaltino Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Célio Sampaio came out of the goal and Isaltino Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Célio Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Passos in the 67th minute of play. When Isaltino Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the MarcuSantos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaltino Fontes couldn't finish the play. Célio Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Artur de Sena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MarcuSantos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balsa the free kick. Isaltino Fontes struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Célio Sampaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MarcuSantos FC. Wilian Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilian Madureira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Chicão Mangueira came out and tried to block the shot, but Wilian Madureira slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 88th minute. Balsa's Alan Penha got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chicão Mangueira made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Wilian Madureira sent off a good shot on target. Alan Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Chicão Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MarcuSantos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Balsa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
