The supporters of Porto Velho MzR booed when GUIRATINGA F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Délio Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliézer Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to GUIRATINGA F. C. getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Osvald Wallman hit a great ball. After 14 minutes GUIRATINGA F. C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raúl Maia who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Vítor Bertassi drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind GUIRATINGA F. C.'s goalkeeper. Vivaldo Barbosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valério Messias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Vivaldo Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Valério Messias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GUIRATINGA F. C.. Gilmar Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Valério Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilmar Maia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valério Messias having to make a save. Romário Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério Messias having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias Baptista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vivaldo Barbosa took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valério Messias. Valério Messias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 61 minutes into the match, GUIRATINGA F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Elias Baptista came free, but Roberto Dinamite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valério Messias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vivaldo Barbosa in the 68th minute. Porto Velho MzR's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eliézer Travassos 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Roberto Dinamite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was joyful for the audience to see Délio Amaral dribbling past the opponents defense line in the 90th played minute and put the ball into the net. 1-3. In the 94th match minute, Porto Velho MzR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enio Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. The Porto Velho MzR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GUIRATINGA F. C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
