Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dalmo de Souza got the match started through his kick off. When Dalmo de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Pardos AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmo de Souza couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Pardos AD's Gilson Garcia got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Centralito's Enrique Amaral broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Luís Fernando Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilson Garcia during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Centralito booed when Pardos AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilson Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sérgio Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Berger having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Nunes in the 23rd minute of play forced Pardos AD's goalkeeper Horácio Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fábio de Almeida came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Pardos AD's Dedê Cearense. But to his dismay, Dedê Cearense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Horácio Berger made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Sérgio Lucas sent off a good shot on target. During the 53rd minute of the match Gilson Garcia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gilson Garcia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 53rd match minute, Pardos AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Mário Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Horácio Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Mário Nunes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 62nd minute Mário Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Horácio Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mário Nunes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horácio Berger having to make a save. Sérgio Lucas came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Horácio Berger could save by the left post. Anísio Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Narciso Barbosa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pardos AD! The goalkeeper, Horácio Berger, was totally fooled by Centralito's Enrique Amaral, who 83 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 86 minutes into the match, Zé Roberto Cearense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fábio de Almeida. Centralito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Roberto Cearense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 89th match minute, Pardos AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. Sérgio Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Berger having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Sérgio Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Centralito's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horácio Berger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Centralito's Mário Nunes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Horácio Berger. That made the score 2-2 after 96 minutes of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
