With a left leg Luiz Fábio de Almeida saved Centralito from getting behind. Roberto Dinamite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Naldo Eger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Dinamite was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Naldo Eger hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Eliézer Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Luiz Fábio de Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vivaldo Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio de Almeida having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Délio Amaral during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to GUIRATINGA F. C. getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Délio Amaral hit a great ball. Roberto Dinamite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Nunes in the 60th minute of play. Centralito's Luiz Fábio de Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Centralito from getting a goal against them. In the 64th match minute, Centralito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Nunes to maneuver through the defense.
