A beautiful save bye Porto Velho MzR's goalie prevented a goal. Gilson Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Horácio Berger came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Porto Velho MzR's Ruy Vaz. But to his dismay, Ruy Vaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 21st match minute, Pardos AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. Ruy Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horácio Berger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruy Vaz in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Dedê Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pardos AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedê Cearense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valério Messias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pardos AD's Horácio Berger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Pardos AD from getting a goal against them. Elias Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalmo de Souza to make the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Dalmo de Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Porto Velho MzR's Valério Messias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When João Pedro Tinoco fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porto Velho MzR's protests and gave João Pedro Tinoco a yellow card for diving instead. Dedê Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Dalmo de Souza took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Valério Messias to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Porto Velho MzR booed when Pardos AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilson Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Baptista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horácio Berger having to make a save. In the 68th minute, Dedê Cearense made a precise shot to the right of Valério Messias. Porto Velho MzR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Valério Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmo de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmo de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dedê Cearense might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valério Messias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dedê Cearense ran back to his position shaking his head. When Dedê Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Pardos AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedê Cearense couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Elias Baptista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horácio Berger was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. Pardos AD played a much better game than Porto Velho MzR and deserved their victory. The Porto Velho MzR players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
