Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. José Augusto Mangueira started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Reginaldo Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes Jupy SS got a freekick which was hit by Ediberto Hames. Tijucal F.C.'s Egídio Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorginho Paranaense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jupy SS's Reginaldo Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jupy SS's goalkeeper Lauro Gomes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tijucal F.C.'s Enrique do Nascimento got a free kick in the 27th minute. Lauro Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Augusto Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lauro Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Jupy SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauro Dantas couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reginaldo Amaral was the one to do the kick off. Marcelinho Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Amaral in the 53rd minute of play. Sandrinho Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Lauro Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sandrinho Dante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lauro Gomes was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Augusto Mangueira in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lauro Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 70 minutes of play Jupy SS's Ediberto Hames was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 72nd match minute, Jupy SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that José Augusto Mangueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lauro Gomes was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 77 minutes into the game, José Augusto Mangueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lauro Gomes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lauro Gomes came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Tijucal F.C.'s José Augusto Mangueira. But to his dismay, José Augusto Mangueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandrinho Dante in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lauro Gomes saved Jupy SS from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Augusto Mangueira in the 90th minute of play forced Jupy SS's goalkeeper Lauro Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Márcio Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandrinho Dante in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lauro Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute Sandrinho Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jupy SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tijucal F.C..
