Taquapery's Dário Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmílson Brito succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 9th playminute. Yuri Salgado hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Fortinho's Fernando Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Paranaense in the 13th minute of play. Fernando Bertassi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dário Paranaense showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 18th minute Dário Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dário Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilmar Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Ceresso in the 21st minute of the match. Tibúrcio Teixeira hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Dário Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dário Paranaense struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Fernando Bertassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taquapery. Edmílson Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Fernando Bertassi made a huge save. Cássio Faustino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Chaves having to interfere. Anselmo Ceresso took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilmar Chaves. Gilmar Chaves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Dário Paranaense was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.

Anselmo Ceresso was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Taquapery's Gilmar Chaves got control of the ball when Gilvan Proença tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernando Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Brito in the 67th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Dário Paranaense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Bertassi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Edmílson Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Fernando Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cássio Faustino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Chaves having to interfere. Gilmar Chaves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Many of Fortinho's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Fortinho may have spent more time on the ball, but Taquapery were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
