When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudinei de Mendonça made a kick off. Rubens Penha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudinei de Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After 54 played minutes Feitosa got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Galvão. Claudinei de Mendonças short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Rubens Penha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 59th minute, Internacional SC's Kauã Eger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Gilvan Abreu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rubens Penha having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Claudinei de Mendonça took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Rubens Penha to make any attempt to save it. Kauã Eger scored 1-4 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rubens Penha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Feitosa's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kauã Eger fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gilvan Abreu might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rubens Penha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilvan Abreu ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Internacional SC's Valdemar Moraes got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Internacional SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Feitosa.
