Wellington Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Narciso Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Secco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Abraão in the 10th minute of the match. Wellington Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zacarias Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Narciso Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldão Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zacarias Velosos short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Narciso Secco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 31st minute, Wellington Abraão fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Narciso Secco, passed just outside the right post. In the 33rd match minute, Jeru AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wellington Abraão to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldão Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Lenílson Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldão Luz scored 0-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lenílson Araújo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Jeru AD's Wellington Abraão in the 41st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Narciso Secco was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Funilandia through an amazing save. Jeru AD's Zacarias Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Jeru AD's Zacarias Veloso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Narciso Secco. That made the score 1-1 after 45 minutes of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldão Luz made a kick off. Zacarias Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Narciso Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wellington Abraão might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Narciso Secco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wellington Abraão ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Wellington Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jeru AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Wellington Abraão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Secco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute, Zacarias Veloso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Secco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ronaldão Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Funilandia's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldão Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Marquinhos Alvarenga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Délio Fernandez hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jeru AD had won after a very even match.
