Jaupaci EC's Orlando Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Soares in the 72nd minute of play. Frederico Miranda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamílton Zanette in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, André Luiz Paraíba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
