Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Galante's Tiaguinho Valladares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paulo Renato Cavalcante hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute of the match Natanael Botelho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jânio Cerezo skillfully saved the ball. After 5 minutes of play, Galante's Tiaguinho Valladares made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jânio Cerezo was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to xXx Ò.Ó xXx getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Simão Albuquerque hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiaguinho Valladares in the 12th minute of play forced xXx Ò.Ó xXx's goalkeeper Jânio Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jânio Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiaguinho Valladares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dênis Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Galante fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dênis Rocha couldn't finish the play. Bernardinho Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dênis Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jânio Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiaguinho Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Cerezo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis Rocha in the 27th minute of play forced xXx Ò.Ó xXx's goalkeeper Jânio Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiaguinho Valladares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jânio Cerezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Simão Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jânio Cerezo came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Galante's Dênis Rocha. But to his dismay, Dênis Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Bernardinho Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jânio Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dênis Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiaguinho Valladares in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jânio Cerezo saved xXx Ò.Ó xXx from getting behind. In the 42ndth minute of the game Tiaguinho Valladares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but xXx Ò.Ó xXx's Jânio Cerezo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Bernardinho Moura came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the xXx Ò.Ó xXx fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardinho Moura couldn't finish the play. Dênis Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jânio Cerezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardinho Moura to make the kick off. Dênis Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Cerezo having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Tiaguinho Valladares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardinho Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Célio Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Tiaguinho Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galante's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiaguinho Valladares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jânio Cerezo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute Bernardinho Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célio Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in xXx Ò.Ó xXx's zone, Tiaguinho Valladares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jânio Cerezo came out of the goal and Tiaguinho Valladares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiaguinho Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jânio Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind xXx Ò.Ó xXx's goalkeeper Jânio Cerezo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Bernardinho Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. xXx Ò.Ó xXx's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galante the free kick. xXx Ò.Ó xXx's Jânio Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiaguinho Valladares in the 81st minute of play. Dênis Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Cerezo having to interfere. Tiaguinho Valladares struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Jânio Cerezo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galante. Dênis Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the game, Tiaguinho Valladares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jânio Cerezo. Tiaguinho Valladares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. When the match was over Galante could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than xXx Ò.Ó xXx throughout the match.
