With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdomiro Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Abel AD's Valdomiro Moreno got control of the ball when Jarbas Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Valdir Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Valdomiro Moreno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jarbas Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdir Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Valdomiro Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdomiro Moreno made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Jarbas Amaral sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute Toma Pinga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfredo Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manfredo Mineiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toma Pinga's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 35th match minute, Camiranga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Urbano to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Camiranga getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Glauco Urbano hit a great ball. Valdomiro Moreno made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Jarbas Amaral sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Valdir Cunha made the kick off in the second half. Márcio Mota might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdomiro Moreno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Márcio Mota ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th minute Jarbas Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Camiranga booed when Abel AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Máximo Pizarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Valdir Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camiranga's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdir Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camiranga's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Toma Pinga scored to the left of an out of position Manfredo Mineiro, making the score, 1-1. 77 minutes into the match, Abel AD's goal looked a bit too open when Valdir Cunha came free, but Valdomiro Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdir Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdomiro Moreno having to interfere. A collision led to Camiranga getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Glauco Urbano hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir Cunha in the 90th minute of play forced Abel AD's goalkeeper Valdomiro Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Orlando Cardoso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdomiro Moreno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Máximo Pizarro kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96thth minute of the game Valdir Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abel AD's Valdomiro Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 96 minutes, Valdir Cunha made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Abel AD's Valdomiro Moreno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Camiranga players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
