Renatinho Schmidt came out of the goal and Olívio Nunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Granito RS's Renatinho Schmidt threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olívio Nunes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 7th minute, André Luiz Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dudu Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. Bernard Bojanowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. One of CARUARU FULT CLUB:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Granito RS:s goal. Bernard Bojanowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CARUARU FULT CLUB's Dudu Mesquita got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of CARUARU FULT CLUB booed when Granito RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doni Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernard Bojanowski didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when CARUARU FULT CLUB's Dudu Mesquita shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Eduardo Mineiro in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernard Bojanowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. But to his dismay, Dudu Mesquita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dudu Mesquita was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Sandrinho Velloso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Granito RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Bernard Bojanowski made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Dudu Mesquita sent off a good shot on target. Dudu Mesquita had several of the Granito RS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 63 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Bernard Bojanowski as he didn't even see the shot coming. Luís Eduardo Mineiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernard Bojanowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. When CARUARU FULT CLUB's Luís Eduardo Mineiro in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a little luck, Granito RS's Bernard Bojanowski got control of the ball when Dudu Mesquita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernard Bojanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo Mineiro in the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded CARUARU FULT CLUB left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Granito RS.
