A collision led to JATOBÁ F.C. getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. João Vítor Alagoano hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, JATOBÁ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan Simão came free, but Frank Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6thth minute of the game Gilvan Simão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JATOBÁ F.C.'s Frank Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Sidão Trader's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Ribeiro came free, but Basílio Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basílio Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Délio Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Romário Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basílio Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Ribeiro in the 16th minute of play. Romário Prado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Frank Cunha made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilvan Simão in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Cunha saved JATOBÁ F.C. from getting behind. A collision led to JATOBÁ F.C. getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dorival Motta hit a great ball. Mazinho Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Cunha having to interfere. Gilvan Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Frank Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélio Marquez hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When Sidão Trader's Gilvan Simão in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JATOBÁ F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Gilvan Simão came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Frank Cunha could save by the left post. With a little luck, JATOBÁ F.C.'s Frank Cunha got control of the ball when Romário Prado tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gilvan Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Cunha came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Sidão Trader's Romário Prado. But to his dismay, Romário Prado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Hélio Marquez's late challenge caught a Sidão Trader's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélio Marquez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, JATOBÁ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Marquez to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute of the match Gilvan Simão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frank Cunha showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Sidão Trader's Gilvan Simão in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JATOBÁ F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. When Washington Torres fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JATOBÁ F.C.'s protests and gave Washington Torres a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes JATOBÁ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Washington Torres. The audience was convinced that Mazinho Romero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frank Cunha was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. If Romário Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romário Prado scored 2-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frank Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilvan Simão in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Cunha saved JATOBÁ F.C. from getting behind. In the 90th minute Gilvan Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorival Motta hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Sidão Trader's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
