Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ertuğrul Yaşam kicked off to start the match. Evandro Leão charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evandro Leão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Evandro Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zézinho Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Trigo in the 6th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Betão Trigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zézinho Bezerra was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Mineiros-GO's Ertuğrul Yaşam got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zézinho Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Zézinho Bezerra came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by São Paulo F.C's Nelsinho Penha. But to his dismay, Nelsinho Penha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Zézinho Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Mineiros-GO's goal looked a bit too open when Betão Trigo came free, but Zézinho Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zézinho Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelsinho Penha in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Mineiros-GO got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Leão. Zézinho Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Pinheiro in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Davi Pinheiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zézinho Bezerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 31 minutes of play, São Paulo F.C's Davi Pinheiro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zézinho Bezerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jack McLian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Nogueira having to interfere. Mineiros-GO's Zézinho Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorginho Sarmento in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Ertuğrul Yaşam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Davi Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São Paulo F.C's protests and gave Davi Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, São Paulo F.C's Davi Pinheiro got a free kick in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Nelsinho Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot. São Paulo F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelsinho Penha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zézinho Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nelsinho Penha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ertuğrul Yaşam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ertuğrul Yaşam came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Mineiros-GO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ertuğrul Yaşam couldn't finish the play. Jack McLian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After recieving a nice pass, Mineiros-GO's Natanael Tróia tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mineiros-GO's Zézinho Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Penha in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mineiros-GO's zone, Betão Trigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zézinho Bezerra came out of the goal and Betão Trigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mineiros-GO! Vágner Gomes walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The audience was convinced that Ertuğrul Yaşam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Nogueira was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. When Mineiros-GO's Ertuğrul Yaşam in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mineiros-GO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave São Paulo F.C the free kick. After 88 played minutes Mineiros-GO got a freekick which was hit by Jack McLian. A hard shot 90 in the game by Betão Trigo from a close distance when the talented Zézinho Bezerra managed to make a qualified save. Mineiros-GO's players were relieved. Betão Trigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Zézinho Bezerra made a huge save. When the final whistle went the supporters of São Paulo F.C were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Mineiros-GO side.
