Filadeli's Lúcio Montenegro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Neurônios EC. If Lúcio Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lúcio Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Téo Abraão having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Neurônios EC's zone, Lúcio Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Téo Abraão came out of the goal and Lúcio Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lúcio Montenegro's late challenge caught a Neurônios EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lúcio Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Filadeli got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Montenegro.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cauan Pimenta to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Dráuzio Zilles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Filadeli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Lúcio Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute.
