Michel Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Gomes having to interfere. Léo Medeiros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Gomes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Craazy Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Raimundo de Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walmyr Vidal. Craazy Futebol Clube's Raimundo de Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Craazy Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Craazy Futebol Clube's Raimundo de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Teles in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michel Carneiro was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot by José Pedro Albuquerque from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Roberto Gomes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Léo Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Gomes having to interfere. If Léo Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roberto Gomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Raimundo de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmyr Vidal in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the match Thiago Soares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raimundo de Castro skillfully saved the ball. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Walmyr Vidal sped through Craazy Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raimundo de Castro. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
