But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Urbano couldn't finish the play. Raimundo de Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Urbano's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Fábio Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raimundo de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18thth minute of the game Leonel Urbano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Craazy Futebol Clube's Raimundo de Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raimundo de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo de Castro having to interfere. The referee gave Grêmio FBPA a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ronaldinho Custódio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Craazy Futebol Clube's Raimundo de Castro. 0-1. If Leonel Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Gláuber Romero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Craazy Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grêmio FBPA the free kick. Raimundo de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Arruda in the 39th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basílio Arruda in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimundo de Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Renan Souto fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Craazy Futebol Clube's protests and gave Renan Souto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Craazy Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Renan Souto hit a great ball. The Craazy Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grêmio FBPA were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Michel Carneiro made the kick off in the second half. Raimundo de Castro made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Basílio Arruda sent off a good shot on target. David Souza charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Craazy Futebol Clube! Leonardo Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adilson Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Basílio Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fábio Paiva's late challenge caught a Grêmio FBPA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fábio Paiva helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 minutes of play Craazy Futebol Clube's Fábio Paiva was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes into the game, one of Craazy Futebol Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Grêmio FBPA a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ronaldinho Custódio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Craazy Futebol Clube's Raimundo de Castro. 0-3. In the 83rd minute, Basílio Arruda fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Basílio Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Basílio Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basílio Arruda's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Raimundo de Castro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Raimundo de Castro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basílio Arruda in the 97th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Craazy Futebol Clube's zone, Júlio Donatello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo de Castro came out of the goal and Júlio Donatello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grêmio FBPA played a much better game than Craazy Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Craazy Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
