After a defensive mix-up in Uainiame SS's zone, Gilmar Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luiz Couto came out of the goal and Gilmar Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmo Zilles hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Yan Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Couto having to interfere. Pedro Luiz Couto made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Yan Arruda sent off a good shot on target. Uainiame SS's Pedro Luiz Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Barreto in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Olaria A.C. defense, Armando Tande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernani Freire. The Olaria A.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernani Freire should have stopped the shot. Yan Arruda struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Pedro Luiz Couto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olaria A.C..

Júlio Diniz tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Pedro Luiz Couto. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-2 in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Uainiame SS's Dagoberto Carneiro got a free kick in the 55th minute. Pedro Luiz Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Arruda in the 58th minute of play. Armando Tande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Uainiame SS booed when Olaria A.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilmar Barreto took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Luiz Couto. Pedro Luiz Couto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dagoberto Carneiro during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Olaria A.C. booed when Uainiame SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Uainiame SS getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Evaristo Vidal hit a great ball. Evaristo Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernani Freire read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Uainiame SS's Hernani Freire threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Armando Tande, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Armando Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Hernani Freire tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Uainiame SS's Armando Tande sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernani Freire narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
