An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Nunes in the 4th minute of play forced Pratas da Casa FC's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aírton Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno Diniz in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Olimpo Football Club getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Vito Amorim hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Percy Valadares got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 12 minutes, Ulisses Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpo Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulisses Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Gustavo Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulisses Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Paulo Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Aírton Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Olimpo Football Club's zone, Paulo Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aírton Simão came out of the goal and Paulo Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aírton Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Vito Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olimpo Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Vito Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Gustavo Pereira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Pratas da Casa FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Percy Valadares fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ulisses Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Luís Gustavo Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pratas da Casa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Percy Valadares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ian Tinoco placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! José Pedro Alvarenga charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Pedro Alvarenga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aírton Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Diniz in the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pratas da Casa FC's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Pereira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pratas da Casa FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Olimpo Football Club.
