Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Gugu Mazza fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arassui's protests and gave Gugu Mazza a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Arassui getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gugu Mazza hit a great ball. Arassui's Agnaldo Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Esteves in the 5th minute of play. If Duda Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Fernando Silveira hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Mate defense, Duda Perez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kléberson Xavier. The Mate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kléberson Xavier should have stopped the shot. Mate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arassui the free kick. After 61 played minutes Mate got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Esteves. Agnaldo Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginaldo Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Agnaldo Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reginaldo Esteves went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.
