Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dida Fernandes kicked off to start the match. Duda Perez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Fantini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Agnaldo Amorim made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Renato de Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute of the match, Renato de Medeiros got a very nice opportunity to score, but Agnaldo Amorim was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Itahy's Dida Paes got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 30th minute, Duda Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Saldanha got free with Agnaldo Amorim in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gugu Mazza struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Enrique Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arassui. 41 minutes into the match, Arassui's goal looked a bit too open when Dida Fernandes came free, but Agnaldo Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agnaldo Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dida Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Arassui were furious when Ricardinho Carneiro was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arassui! The goalkeeper, Agnaldo Amorim, was totally fooled by Itahy's Vinícius Berger, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inácio Valle was the one to do the kick off. Agnaldo Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Saldanha in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 played minutes Arassui got a freekick which was hit by Gugu Mazza. In the 63rd minute of the match Vinícius Berger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agnaldo Amorim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 67th minute Dida Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agnaldo Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agnaldo Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Itahy's Erik Saldanha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agnaldo Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dida Fernandes in the 73rd minute of play forced Arassui's goalkeeper Agnaldo Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agnaldo Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Renato de Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itahy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arassui the free kick. The supporters of Arassui booed when Itahy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renato de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th match minute, Arassui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gugu Mazza to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match Vinícius Berger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Agnaldo Amorim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arassui's Agnaldo Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme de Amorim in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Erik Saldanha notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Arassui's Agnaldo Amorim. Agnaldo Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
