Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ulisses Tavares took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Cipool's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Monteiro came free, but Délio Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ulisses Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerson Duarte during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Hílton Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cipool's supporters rose to their feet, but Hílton Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilson Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulisses Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th match minute, Cipool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Arósio to maneuver through the defense. If Ulisses Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Haroldo Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the game, José Paulo Arósio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cipool's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Joanico the free kick. After 23 played minutes Cipool got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Arósio. After 24 played minutes, Joanico's Edu Queiroz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Délio Nóbrega came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Joanico reached it. Joanico's Ulisses Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Nóbrega having to interfere. Ulisses Tavares took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Délio Nóbrega. Délio Nóbrega dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Ulisses Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Délio Nóbrega was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Ulisses Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Nóbrega having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Joanico's zone, João Augusto Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson Veiga came out of the goal and João Augusto Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hílton Pires to make the kick off. When Cipool's Hílton Pires in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Joanico's goalie prevented a goal. Joanico's Enéas Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Monteiro hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Ulisses Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Nóbrega having to interfere. Armando Monteiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Délio Nóbrega made a huge save. In the 63rd match minute, Cipool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Gerber to maneuver through the defense. Armando Monteiro struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Délio Nóbrega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joanico. 65 minutes into the match, Joanico's goal looked a bit too open when João Augusto Carneiro came free, but Nilson Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Ulisses Tavares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Délio Nóbrega. The goal made the score 0-2. Gerson Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gerson Duarte's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Délio Nóbrega firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulisses Tavares in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Délio Nóbrega saved Cipool from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Hílton Pires's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nilson Veiga was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the match, Armando Monteiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Délio Nóbrega. Cipool's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Monteiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Gerson Duarte hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Hílton Pires struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Nilson Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cipool. Joanico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
