Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Augusto Simão got the match started through his kick off. Chico Vale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nico Gomes's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Nico Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandrinho Maia during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Prazeres's zone, Augusto Simão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chico Vale came out of the goal and Augusto Simão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Prazeres defense, Nico Gomes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chico Vale. The Prazeres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chico Vale should have stopped the shot. Nico Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Chico Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Augusto Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Prazeres's Chico Vale got control of the ball when Nico Gomes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Augusto Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Simão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Augusto Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Prazeres's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nico Gomes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Suico booed when Prazeres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruy Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Prazeres defense, Tony Baptista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chico Vale. The Prazeres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chico Vale should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruy Brasil was the one to do the kick off. Augusto Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Chico Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chico Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Gomes in the 60th minute of play. Augusto Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nico Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nico Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77th minute Augusto Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nico Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nico Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Vale having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Suico players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
