Nico Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Velha's zone, Augusto Simão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Durval Bezerra came out of the goal and Augusto Simão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrique Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauan Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Doriva da Costa hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Cauan Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Suico's Enrique Fernandes got control of the ball when Juan Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Velha's Juan Fontes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Enrique Fernandes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 31 minutes, Sandrinho Maia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suico and the Velha players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jerônimo das Neves shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Cauan Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Velha's Cauan Cordeiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enrique Fernandes. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Augusto Simão made the kick off in the second half. Cauan Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Fernandes having to interfere. If Juan Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Juan Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velha's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the game, Velha's Cauan Cordeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enrique Fernandes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Suico's zone, Cauan Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Juan Fontes took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Fernandes. Enrique Fernandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Cauan Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot.
