Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wágner de Medeiros took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute of the match, Wesley Salgado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Percy Mazza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ventania São Thomé's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Igor Freitas in the 5th minute. Ventania São Thomé's Igor Freitas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Percy Mazza in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. João Adolfo de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Angelo Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giovani Sarmento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Percy Mazza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Giovani Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Mazza having to interfere. When Wesley Salgado came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ventania São Thomé fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wesley Salgado couldn't finish the play. João Adolfo de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Angelo Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, João Adolfo de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmeiras Tem Mundial's supporters rose to their feet, but João Adolfo de Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samuca Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Palmeiras Tem Mundial's Percy Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovani Sarmento in the 30th minute of play. Wesley Salgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Percy Mazza having to make a save. Ventania São Thomé's Angelo Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner de Medeiros in the 43rd minute of play. Angelo Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Adolfo de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Palmeiras Tem Mundial's Wágner de Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giovani Sarmento to strike the kick off in the second half. Giovani Sarmento took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Percy Mazza. Percy Mazza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a little luck, Ventania São Thomé's Angelo Silva got control of the ball when João Adolfo de Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wanderson Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Silva having to interfere. Wesley Salgado struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Percy Mazza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ventania São Thomé. After having played for 68 minutes, João Adolfo de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmeiras Tem Mundial's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Adolfo de Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Salgado in the 71st minute of play forced Palmeiras Tem Mundial's goalkeeper Percy Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ventania São Thomé's Giovani Sarmento got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wágner de Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Percy Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Adolfo de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ventania São Thomé's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
