Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matías Vinhas started the match with the kick off. Murillo Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Jonas Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tubarão Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breno Vargas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute, Edu Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murillo Paes in the 9th minute of play forced Black Rovers FC's goalkeeper Breno Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Black Rovers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waldemar Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Danilo Sabóia had great luck who in the 20thth minute grab hold of the ball when Matías Vinhas from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 22 minutes into the match, Tubarão Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Vinhas came free, but Danilo Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Maria Macedo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, Elói Romero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Danilo Sabóia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Otávio Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Breno Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Black Rovers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Paes came free, but Breno Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Maria Macedo's late challenge caught a Tubarão Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Maria Macedo helped the player get up and apologised. José Maria Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Murillo Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Black Rovers FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Duda Fernandez hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Black Rovers FC's zone, Waldemar Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breno Vargas came out of the goal and Waldemar Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Breno Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otávio Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Vargas having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Otávio Marinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Tubarão Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Breno Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Duda Bezerra came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Tubarão Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duda Bezerra couldn't finish the play. José Maria Macedo was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 60 played minutes Black Rovers FC got a freekick which was hit by José Maria Macedo. Tubarão Futebol Clube's Duda Bezerra got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Black Rovers FC's goalkeeper Breno Vargas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Palmeira. After 67 minutes Black Rovers FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Otávio Marinho who took care of the corner kick. Otávio Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Breno Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Black Rovers FC's Breno Vargas got control of the ball when Otávio Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Tubarão Futebol Clube could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Black Rovers FC throughout the match.
