Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Nunes in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elivélton Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute Alberto Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Elivélton Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silas Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Genílson Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 played minutes Fidelo EC got a freekick which was hit by Matheus Cardoso. 19 minutes into the match, Caveiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Lucas came free, but Elivélton Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gildo Eger during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fidelo EC booed when Caveiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gildo Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidelo EC's Alberto Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 33 minutes, Alberto Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fidelo EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aílton de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Nunes in the 39th minute of play forced Caveiras FC's goalkeeper Elivélton Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidelo EC's Alberto Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Caveiras FC's zone, Alberto Nunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elivélton Cabral came out of the goal and Alberto Nunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute Alberto Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Nunes to make the kick off. In the 57th match minute, Fidelo EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Alberto Nunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Nunes got free with Elivélton Cabral in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Nuness short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Elivélton Cabral to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Raí Meireles hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Caveiras FC's Henrique Salles couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fidelo EC. Elivélton Cabral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Nunes in the 70th minute. Claudinho Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Alberto Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton Cabral having to interfere. Andrézinho Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genílson Fontes having to interfere. Matheus Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. When the final whistle sounded Fidelo EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Caveiras FC.
