Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudinho Lucas started the match with the kick off. Kiko Veiga was a little too slow when Claudinho Lucas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. Jonathan Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Genílson Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Tricolor Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Alex Lopez. José Vítor Maia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Tricolor Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Felipe Lopes hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Tricolor Esporte Clube's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Claudinho Lucas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinho Lucas in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kiko Veiga saved Tricolor Esporte Clube from getting behind. The supporters of Tricolor Esporte Clube booed when Fidelo EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélio Guedes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genílson Fontes having to make a save. Claudinho Lucas might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kiko Veiga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudinho Lucas ran back to his position shaking his head. Alberto Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Claudinho Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes Tricolor Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Lopes. Kiko Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Lucas in the 45th minute of play. Tricolor Esporte Clube's Kiko Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertinho de Amorim in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hélio Guedes made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tricolor Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Kiko Veiga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 56 minutes, Matheus Cardoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fidelo EC and the Tricolor Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fidelo EC's Matheus Cardoso got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute, Aílton de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Kiko Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 minutes of play, Fidelo EC's Alberto Nunes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kiko Veiga was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute, Albertinho de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Jonathan Chaves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genílson Fontes. Fidelo EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Chaves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 85th minute Claudinho Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kiko Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 played minutes Tricolor Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Proença. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tricolor Esporte Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fidelo EC.
