Jerônimo Favoretto's late challenge caught a Estremoz SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerônimo Favoretto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, Oiteiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerônimo Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. Raphael Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Oiteiro's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Zilles came free, but Frank Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Augusto Vander during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raphael Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Frank Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldinho Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 43 minutes, Raphael Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estremoz SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raphael Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raphael Tavares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Frank Botelho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Oiteiro's zone, Raphael Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Botelho came out of the goal and Raphael Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alan Zilles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Cauã Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 54 minutes, Fausto Trancoso made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Estremoz SC's Ronaldinho Ferreira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronaldinho Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanni Faustino, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Alan Zilles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. In the 80th minute, Geovanni Faustino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredinho Valadares during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Raphael Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estremoz SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raphael Tavares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Botelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Estremoz SC had played much better football throughout.
