Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zézinho Furtado started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Apucarena got a freekick which was hit by Vitinho Ramalho. Sílvio Luís Ferraz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luís Guilherme Marques. Apucarena's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With his leg Nilton de Mendonça managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Apucarena's Dinei Guimarães fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 13 minutes, Murillo Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Várzea do Tamanduateí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murillo Falcão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zézinho Furtado was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Apucarena's Luís Guilherme Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo Falcão in the 25th minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Apucarena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Freitas to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Várzea do Tamanduateí's corner Durvalino Valadares fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luís Guilherme Marques quite easily take care of the ball. Sílvio Luís Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Nilton de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Furtado in the 47th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Giovanni Mello got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nilton de Mendonça quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar de Andrade got free with Luís Guilherme Marques in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Murillo Falcão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Guilherme Marques having to make a save. Christiano Freitas hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Dinei Guimarães struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Nilton de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apucarena. Nilton de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Furtado in the 72nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Dinei Guimarães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nilton de Mendonça was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 75th minute, Dinei Guimarães left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apucarena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Edgar de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Guilherme Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murillo Falcão in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Trevisan in the 85th minute of play forced Apucarena's goalkeeper Luís Guilherme Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murillo Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Luís Guilherme Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giovanni Mello hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Artur Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Apucarena's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
