Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Juninho dos Santos kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Apucarena's Luís Guilherme Marques got control of the ball when Lúcio Arantes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zézinho Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Wágner Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lucuri getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jonas Severo hit a great ball. Lucuri's Juninho dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 26 minutes, Lúcio Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lucuri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 28 minutes of play, Apucarena's Dinei Guimarães made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wágner Magalhães was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lúcio Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wágner Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Furtado in the 37th minute of the match. If Zézinho Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Apucarena booed when Lucuri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Apucarena's Zézinho Furtado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wágner Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The Lucuri players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Apucarena were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zézinho Furtado to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jonas Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zézinho Furtado in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wágner Magalhães saved Lucuri from getting behind. 56 minutes into the match, Lucuri's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Furtado came free, but Wágner Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juninho dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme Marques having to interfere. Dinei Guimarães didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-3 via right post in the game's 63rd minute. Apucarena's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Lúcio Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute Jonas Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Guilherme Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute Zézinho Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lucuri's zone, Dinei Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wágner Magalhães came out of the goal and Dinei Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zézinho Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Apucarena had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
