Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wágner de Brito started the match with the kick off. Wágner de Brito struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Róbson Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaperu. Erasmo Torres's late challenge caught a Itaperu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasmo Torres helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Nicacio's Erasmo Torres got a free kick in the 5th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cléberson Macedo in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Róbson Leão saved Nicacio from getting behind. Jerônimo Valadares was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Tarcisio Nascimento capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tarcisio Nascimento really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of Nicacio booed when Itaperu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fábio Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Itaperu's Jerônimo Valadares got control of the ball when Cléberson Lira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, Tarcisio Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Cléberson Lira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 32 played minutes Nicacio got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Torres. 38 minutes into the game, Nicacio's Cléberson Lira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerônimo Valadares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Cléberson Lira came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Nicacio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cléberson Lira couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarcisio Nascimento in the 45th minute of play forced Itaperu's goalkeeper Jerônimo Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Tarcisio Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerônimo Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Tarcisio Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jerônimo Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicacio's Cléberson Lira got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cléberson Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo Valadares having to interfere. Cléberson Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jerônimo Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerônimo Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléberson Lira in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Tarcisio Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerônimo Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Itaperu got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Guedes. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Cléberson Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nicacio's supporters rose to their feet, but Cléberson Lira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerônimo Valadares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Tarcisio Nascimento sped through Itaperu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jerônimo Valadares. Ramiro Loyola shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Jerônimo Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléberson Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Cléberson Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Itaperu's Jerônimo Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarcisio Nascimento in the 91st minute of play. Róbson Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wágner de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute.
