Ruy Pena started the match with the kick off. Ruy Pena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sílvio Luiz Salles having to make a save. Josué Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Dino Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Benê Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 17th minute, but Sílvio Luiz Salles got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Sangao hanging dry this time. Ruy Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Sangao booed when Martim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 minutes of play, Martim's Ruy Pena made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Luiz Salles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sílvio Luiz Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruy Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ruy Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sangao's Sílvio Luiz Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Sangao from getting a goal against them. Felippe Marinho charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felippe Marinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sílvio Luiz Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Natã Novaes in the 49th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dino Falcão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benê Lago was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Rony Teixeira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rony Teixeira really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Felippe Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Isaltino Ramos's late challenge caught a Martim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaltino Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sangao getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Isaltino Ramos hit a great ball. Dino Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benê Lago having to interfere. Sangao's Sílvio Luiz Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natã Novaes in the 80th minute of play. Ruy Pena hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Diguinho Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Sangao's Dino Falcão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benê Lago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diguinho Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Martim were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sangao for a fine match.
