Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hugo Coutinho started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Aníbal Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Aníbal Loyola came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Braslandia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aníbal Loyola couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute Hugo Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Acácio Moraes came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Braslandia's Horácio de Azevedo. But to his dismay, Horácio de Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Horácio de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio Moraes having to interfere. Acácio Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Braslandia's zone, Márcio Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fabiano Sá came out of the goal and Márcio Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Buique AD's Márcio Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aníbal Loyola to make the kick off. If Gino do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acácio Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Buique AD's zone, Aníbal Loyola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acácio Moraes came out of the goal and Aníbal Loyola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Aníbal Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acácio Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horácio de Azevedo in the 75th minute of play. José Augusto Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horácio de Azevedo took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Acácio Moraes. Acácio Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some careless play in the Braslandia defense, Edvaldo Dantas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Fabiano Sá. The Braslandia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Fabiano Sá should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Buique AD's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Loyola came free, but Acácio Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Braslandia's Aníbal Loyola in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buique AD's goalie prevented a goal.
