Renan Madureira charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renan Madureira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of 大胆さと喜び booed when Xixebal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renan Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Xixebal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ramón de Godoy was slow to take the kick. During this time 大胆さと喜び's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ramón de Godoy almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Xixebal's Joélson Antunes did a great save. After a rather tough play, 大胆さと喜び's Robert Mellberg got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Joélson Antunes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiago Marinho went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Joélson Antunes made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Tiago Marinho sent off a good shot on target. Luiz Paulo Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Joélson Antunes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Vladimir Vergílio. The 大胆さと喜び fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when 大胆さと喜び's Tiago Marinho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sydney de Lara to make the kick off. Joélson Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Marinho in the 57th minute of the match. Renan Madureira hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, 大胆さと喜び's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Brodel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcinho Lopez. Luiz Paulo Brodel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcinho Lopez in the 70th minute. Renan Madureira was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 大胆さと喜び's Sandro Maia was substituted for André Luís Goiano. The supporters of 大胆さと喜び booed when Xixebal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joélson Antunes came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by 大胆さと喜び's Tiago Marinho. But to his dismay, Tiago Marinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 84th match minute, 大胆さと喜び was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Maia to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match, Marcinho Lopez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luiz Paulo Brodel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Joélson Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Marinho in the 92nd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. 大胆さと喜び fully deserved thier win.
