The referee ignored Eagles Fotbol Club's protests and gave Eusébio Paulista a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 minutes, Geovanni Leite made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Eagles Fotbol Club's Miguel Simão tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benjamim Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Simão having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Salinora's Juninho Alves got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Eagles Fotbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamim Britto came free, but Miguel Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Salinora were the better team. Salinora's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
