After having played for 3 minutes, Rodrigo Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MusicBall Show's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Ferraz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Vítor Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Pedro Augusto Prestes made a huge save. After 10 played minutes Cauarru got a freekick which was hit by Cafu de Carvalho. Enio Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Danilo Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enio Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Denílson dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Célio de Queiroz's late challenge caught a MusicBall Show's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Célio de Queiroz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cauarru getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Célio de Queiroz hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Cauarru's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Ferraz came free, but Denílson dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Gerber in the 28th minute of play forced MusicBall Show's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Luz hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Cauarru's Danilo Gerber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Augusto Prestes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Denílson dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cauarru's goalkeeper Denílson dos Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enio Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson dos Santos having to interfere. Rodrigo Ferraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cauarru's zone, Rodrigo Ferraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denílson dos Santos came out of the goal and Rodrigo Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Ferraz made the kick off in the second half. Célio de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Augusto Prestes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Gerber in the 55th minute of play forced MusicBall Show's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, José Vítor Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cauarru's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Vítor Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denílson dos Santos made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Enio Toledo sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the match, Cauarru's goalkeeper Denílson dos Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enio Toledo. Enio Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes Cauarru got a freekick which was hit by Cafu de Carvalho. MusicBall Show's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcel Pirani in the 90th minute. Pedro Augusto Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Arce in the 92nd minute of play. After 95 minutes of play, Cauarru's José Vítor Arce made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Augusto Prestes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
