Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Stella Alba's Aloísio Pirani started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emanuel Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Donato having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Aloísio Pirani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tales Donato was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Inhaumense FC defense, Aloísio Pirani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tales Donato. The Inhaumense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tales Donato should have stopped the shot. When Célio Linares fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inhaumense FC's protests and gave Célio Linares a yellow card for diving instead. Célio Linares hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Emanuel Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aníbal Tavares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fernando Leão in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Inhaumense FC's Hélio Pontes got a free kick in the 26th minute. Aloísio Pirani took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tales Donato. Tales Donato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 29th minute, Emanuel Pitta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuel Pitta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aloísio Pirani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tales Donato having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aloísio Pirani in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tales Donato saved Inhaumense FC from getting behind. Luís Fernando Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Célio Linares to strike the kick off in the second half. Luís Fernando Leão struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Aníbal Tavares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inhaumense FC. After having played for 60 minutes, Aloísio Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stella Alba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aloísio Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inhaumense FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Aloísio Pirani scored to the left of an out of position Tales Donato, making the score, 0-3. Zé Paulo Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Tales Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aloísio Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Inhaumense FC's zone, Aloísio Pirani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tales Donato came out of the goal and Aloísio Pirani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cássio Rocha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aníbal Tavares. Stella Alba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Célio Linares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Aníbal Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aloísio Pirani took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tales Donato. Tales Donato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso Andrade during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Stella Alba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Andrade to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Stella Alba defense, Célio Linares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aníbal Tavares. The Stella Alba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aníbal Tavares should have stopped the shot. Hélio Pontes charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélio Pontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Stella Alba booed when Inhaumense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stella Alba played a much better game than Inhaumense FC and deserved their victory. The Inhaumense FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
