Raí de Brito was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emanuel Pitta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Raí de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aloísio Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, Stella Alba's Aníbal Tavares got control of the ball when Marcinho Marquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adalberto Mello struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Aloísio Pirani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deserto SS's Raí de Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adalberto Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Tavares having to interfere. Aloísio Pirani struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Raí de Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stella Alba. Aníbal Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Mello in the 88th minute of the match. If Adalberto Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Stella Alba fully deserved thier win.
