In the 3rd match minute, Feirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir Torres to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Célio Peres in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juvenal Soares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Durval Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Soares having to interfere. Célio Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Piripiri FC's Frederico da Mata dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ian Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walmir Barral went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Capixaba in the 22nd minute of play forced Piripiri FC's goalkeeper Ian Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Piripiri FC's Felippe Soares got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Célio Peres received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juvenal Soares came out and tried to block the shot, but Célio Peres slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 31st minute. Durval Paulista came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Juvenal Soares could save by the left post. The supporters of Feirinha booed when Piripiri FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Piripiri FC! The referee gave Feirinha a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cristóvão Hermes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Piripiri FC's Ian Fonseca. 2-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walmir Barral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58th play minutes Durval Paulista shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Juvenal Soares and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Célio Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piripiri FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Célio Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd match minute, Feirinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir Torres to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Durval Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frederico Capixaba in the 68th minute. Frederico da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Frederico Capixaba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Fonseca having to interfere. Frederico Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ian Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Frederico Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felippe Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Walmir Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feirinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Walmir Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Piripiri FC's Ian Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Piripiri FC from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, Frederico Capixaba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ian Fonseca. Piripiri FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frederico Capixaba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. After 92 minutes, Alberto Mangueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Feirinha and the Piripiri FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 91 minutes into the game, one of Feirinha:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. For all the effort they put into the match, the Feirinha players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Piripiri FC.
