Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Juarês Cavalcante took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Luiz Nascimento fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Juarês Cavalcante got free in front of the goal in the 10th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Benjamin Baptist was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 17 minutes of play, MAKE RACISTS AFRAID AGAIN's João Francisco Rosa made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sérgio de Alcântara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luiz Guilherme Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Lino Camargo scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Baptist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Nascimento in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio de Alcântara saved Cuiabá FC from getting behind. João Francisco Rosa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sérgio de Alcântara firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Camargo in the 33rd minute of play forced MAKE RACISTS AFRAID AGAIN's goalkeeper Benjamin Baptist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luiz Guilherme Saldanha fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAKE RACISTS AFRAID AGAIN's protests and gave Luiz Guilherme Saldanha a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Luiz Guilherme Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Sérgio de Alcântara managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when MAKE RACISTS AFRAID AGAIN's João Francisco Rosa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 46 minutes into the game, Luiz Nascimento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Sérgio de Alcântara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Nascimento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MAKE RACISTS AFRAID AGAIN's Luiz Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Rosa in the 54th minute of play forced Cuiabá FC's goalkeeper Sérgio de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Camargo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Benjamin Baptist made a huge save. João Francisco Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If João Francisco Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cuiabá FC's Mário de Toledo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Sérgio de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Francisco Rosa in the 75th minute of play. Sérgio de Alcântara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Luiz Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAKE RACISTS AFRAID AGAIN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 minutes, Mário de Toledo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuiabá FC and the MAKE RACISTS AFRAID AGAIN players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cuiabá FC! 97 minutes into the game, MAKE RACISTS AFRAID AGAIN's Luiz Guilherme Saldanha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sérgio de Alcântara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cuiabá FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MAKE RACISTS AFRAID AGAIN.
