The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Rubinho Reis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oscar Santos. PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO's Ramón Prata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celsinho Brito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO booed when Miriri SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víktor Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience cheered when Wesley Munhoz's long shot passed Celsinho Brito's right side. It was 2-0, 22 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Perivaldo Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miriri SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Perivaldo Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valério Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Santos having to interfere. Alexsandro Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Perivaldo Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO's goal looked a bit too open when Valério Messias came free, but Oscar Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Víktor Moreira took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Santos. Oscar Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valério Messias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Miriri SS getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Almir Figueiredo hit a great ball. Benedito Ferraz's late challenge caught a PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benedito Ferraz helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Miriri SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! In the 60th minute there was a penalty for PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO. Wesley Munhoz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Celsinho Brito. 3-1. Rubinho Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Celsinho Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexsandro Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 71st minute Ramón Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramón Prata in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celsinho Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Miriri SS's Romeu Lara got a free kick in the 75th minute. Wesley Munhoz, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ramón Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Celsinho Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Valério Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valério Messias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Oscar Santos didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Miriri SS's Perivaldo Barros shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Ramón Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Brito having to interfere. The PINGUINS ABANDONANDO JOGO players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
