Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Poli FC's Válbson Queiroz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Poli FC's Rodrigo Barral got a free kick in the 2nd minute. A collision led to Poli FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Claudinho Vergílio hit a great ball. Luiz Eduardo Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Poli FC's zone, Luiz Eduardo Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Monteiro came out of the goal and Luiz Eduardo Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, Doriva Arósio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alessandro Monteiro, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Eduardo Guimarães in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alessandro Monteiro saved Poli FC from getting behind. After 15 played minutes Poli FC got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Pontes. If Doriva Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Válbson Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Válbson Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poli FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Válbson Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vito Sarmento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Válbson Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Vito Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luiz Eduardo Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Guga Couto fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poli FC's protests and gave Guga Couto a yellow card for diving instead. Guga Couto hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute of the match Maurinho Guedes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alessandro Monteiro skillfully saved the ball. Alessandro Monteiro made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Luiz Eduardo Guimarães sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the game, Tucunduva AD's Doriva Arósio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alessandro Monteiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 40 minutes into the match, Poli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Eduardo Guimarães came free, but Alessandro Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Doriva Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes, Olavo Pontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poli FC and the Tucunduva AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Poli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavo Pontes to maneuver through the defense. Doriva Arósio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Eduardo Guimarães to make the kick off. Luiz Eduardo Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Monteiro having to interfere. Alessandro Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Luiz Eduardo Guimarães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alessandro Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 65 minutes of play, Tucunduva AD's Gabriel Soares made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Poli FC defense, Luís Gustavo Esteves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alessandro Monteiro. The Poli FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alessandro Monteiro should have stopped the shot. When Luiz Eduardo Guimarães came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Tucunduva AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Eduardo Guimarães couldn't finish the play. In the 81st match minute, Poli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guga Couto to maneuver through the defense. Alessandro Monteiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Eduardo Guimarães's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. The Tucunduva AD fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Tucunduva AD's Luiz Eduardo Guimarães looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luiz Eduardo Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doriva Arósio struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Alessandro Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tucunduva AD. Vito Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Queiroz in the 94th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Gabriel Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tucunduva AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessandro Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tucunduva AD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
