Adelino Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Leque's goal looked a bit too open when Guto Bittencourt came free, but Ernani da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodoro Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Meira having to interfere. Ernani da Mata was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guto Bittencourt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Arantes was the one to do the kick off. Adelino Meira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sandro Nogueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 60 minute of play. In the 78th minute Guto Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernani da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernani da Mata didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Lago went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Teodoro Arantes might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adelino Meira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodoro Arantes ran back to his position shaking his head. Fraga's Adelino Meira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Fraga from getting a goal against them. Ernani da Mata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guto Bittencourt's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Fraga's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Teodoro Arantes 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-2.
