Tião Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Paulo Bueno having to interfere. Marcelinho Barbosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdomiro Luz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelinho Barbosa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th minute, João Augusto Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Frédson Messias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malas United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 39 minutes into the game, João Augusto Cordeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anti Fascistas do Paraná's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malas United the free kick. The supporters of Malas United booed when Anti Fascistas do Paraná was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Augusto Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oswaldo Mineiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tião Alagoano to make the kick off. Valdomiro Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 62nd minute, Caco Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 63 minutes, Oswaldo Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anti Fascistas do Paraná's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a left leg Valdomiro Luz saved Malas United from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, Anti Fascistas do Paraná's Marcelinho Barbosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdomiro Luz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Marcelinho Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valdomiro Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswaldo Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Anti Fascistas do Paraná supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Malas United's performance. The match ended with a win for Malas United.
