Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silvinho Netto started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Silvinho Netto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute, Denílson Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrick Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Denílson Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denílson Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Patrick Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Wilson Custódio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Celeste FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ianatama SS the free kick. The supporters of Ianatama SS booed when Celeste FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th play minute Denílson Fernandes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Patrick Miranda. 1-0. Silvinho Netto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrick Miranda having to make a save. Denílson Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Patrick Miranda made a huge save. Patrick Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvinho Netto in the 26th minute of the match. Patrick Miranda came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ianatama SS's Pedro Paulo Salles. But to his dismay, Pedro Paulo Salles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Denílson Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Patrick Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvinho Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Miranda having to interfere. If Denílson Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Dráuzio Vinhas made the kick off in the second half. Patrick Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Fernandes in the 55th minute of the match. The supporters of Celeste FC booed when Ianatama SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Pedro Paulo Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ianatama SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Paulo Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dráuzio Maia fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Celeste FC's protests and gave Dráuzio Maia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Denílson Fernandes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ianatama SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Albertinho Rezende's late challenge caught a Celeste FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albertinho Rezende helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Dráuzio Vinhas took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Nestor Simões to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Ianatama SS's zone, Dráuzio Vinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Simões came out of the goal and Dráuzio Vinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denílson Fernandes succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. Celeste FC's Dráuzio Maia got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Dráuzio Maia off the ground. Dráuzio Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Celeste FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvinho Netto came free, but Patrick Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvinho Netto in the 88th minute of play forced Celeste FC's goalkeeper Patrick Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Pedro Paulo Salles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrick Miranda. Celeste FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Paulo Salles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Fernandes in the 95th minute of play forced Celeste FC's goalkeeper Patrick Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute, Vágner Ramalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ianatama SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. When the referee ended the match the Ianatama SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
