Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Válter Ferraz started the match with the kick off. Baltazar Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulisses de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Ulisses de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulisses de Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baltazar Toledo having to make a save. 11 minutes into the match, CARDAN FC's goalkeeper Tomás Trevisan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renan de Godoi. Tomás Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Ferraz in the 17th minute of play. When Gustavo Cardoso fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lorenzo War FC's protests and gave Gustavo Cardoso a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lorenzo War FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Ulisses de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Válter Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Tomás Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lorenzo War FC's Mário Cabral got a free kick in the 30th minute. Ulisses de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válter Ferraz in the 38th minute of play forced CARDAN FC's goalkeeper Tomás Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lorenzo War FC's Válter Ferraz in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CARDAN FC's goalie prevented a goal. Tomás Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Baltazar Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ulisses de Andrade in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Baltazar Toledo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Renan de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Tomás Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredinho Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The corner led Lorenzo War FC's Kiko Abreu to fire away a dangerous shot which Tomás Trevisan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Renan de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 63 minutes, Jonathan Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CARDAN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulisses de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, CARDAN FC's Baltazar Toledo threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfredinho Alagoano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Válter Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tomás Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 74 minutes, Jonathan Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CARDAN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulisses de Andrade got free with Baltazar Toledo in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ulisses de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in CARDAN FC's zone, Válter Ferraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Trevisan came out of the goal and Válter Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Válter Ferraz charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Válter Ferraz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of CARDAN FC booed when Lorenzo War FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válter Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tomás Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Ferraz in the 92nd minute of play. Cesinha Vander's late challenge caught a Lorenzo War FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesinha Vander helped the player get up and apologised. Cesinha Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Tomás Trevisan came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Lorenzo War FC's Válter Ferraz. But to his dismay, Válter Ferraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. CARDAN FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
