Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Serafim Siqueira made the kick off which started today's match. Chico Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafim Siqueira in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute, Abel Coelho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Adelino Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Sport Clube Gamba Paulist's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abel Coelho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Chico Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão da Silveira in the 17th minute of play. Serafim Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Camargo having to interfere. Abel Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 25 minutes, Maurício Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AKAI FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurício Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Sport Clube Gamba Paulist getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Serafim Siqueira hit a great ball. Serafim Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Chico Camargo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aníbal Moreno took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chico Camargo. Chico Camargo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Serafim Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, AKAI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Gaúcho came free, but Chico Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafim Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Camargo having to interfere. Sport Clube Gamba Paulist's Pedrão da Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Coelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sport Clube Gamba Paulist's Celso Quirino managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Abel Coelho in the 55 minute of the game. 63 minutes into the match, AKAI FC's goalkeeper Chico Camargo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celso Quirino. After having played for 64 minutes, Serafim Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Clube Gamba Paulist's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafim Siqueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedrão da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Camargo having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Caetano Domingues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Gustavo Paiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 76 minutes of play, AKAI FC's Abel Coelho made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Gustavo Paiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chico Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafim Siqueira in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Frédson Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pedrão da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sport Clube Gamba Paulist's Luís Gustavo Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Coelho in the 92nd minute of play. Sport Clube Gamba Paulist's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
